i was interested in hearing a response to raphael's post - never saw one,
so let me ask the question in a different form:

how can i send audio from my app to another app?

thanks,
matt

hello.

I wrote already once about this subject.
I'd like to develop an app that could intercept sound coming from other
sound apps like reWire ( propollerheads.com ) but that could work without
any extra implementation in the target apps. some people I asked thru the
web told me it is maybe possible to do it writing a kernel extension that
could work like a fake system I/O device, so that apps would *believe* they
are sendind their sound to the real system I/O device...
