I have a Stealth serial port adaptor

http://www.geethree.com/p_stealth.html) in my machine, which goes in
place of the internal modem. When I have the "driver" for it installed,
two endpoints called "Port 1" and "Port 2" show up in the CoreMIDI
list. I have no idea if they really work or not, but at least it's
close.
(I say "driver" because their installer doesn't install a real driver,
but just overwrites the Info.plist of the Apple serial driver so that
its hardware gets used. This is pretty cheesy but I guess it works.)
