convince the FMOD group to go CoreAudio?

  • Subject: convince the FMOD group to go CoreAudio?

Is there someone on this list who knows a lot about CoreAudio who could
convince the guys over at www.fmod.org (who just released the first MacOS
8/9/X version of the FMOD api) to switch their Carbon Sound Manager
implementation to a native CoreAudio implementation for the Mach-O version
of FMOD? I think the API would be much more efficient and would have a
slightly lower latency if it used CoreAudio directly, implementing their
effects as custom audio units.
