I'm trying to work around the QT bugs so that I can actually use
Sibelius. I downloaded the REASON demo - thinking I could use it as a
sampler and a midi device with Sibelius. I'm having trouble getting
either to be recognized by Jaguar's AudioMidi Setup utility.
I received the following from the Sibelius HelpCenter.
" Applications need to be specifically coded to use the
CoreMIDI/CoreAudio services in Jaguar; Sibelius doesn't take any notice
of this setup at the moment (and it sounds like Reason doesn't either
yet), so I suspect that MIDI Patchbay may be your only option for the
time being. "
I downloaded Peter's MIDI Patchbay but didn't get far with making it
work with R and S.
Can some suggest a solution? Or do I have to wait until 10.3 for the
QT fixes (next summer?).
