:-) There's no time-stretching code, but there are links to good papers
and explanations.
My starting point had been "The Scientist and Engineer's Guide to
Digital Signal Processing" by S. W. Smith (not to be confused with J.
O. Smith, another legend in the field) which can be downloaded as a set
of pdfs here: www.dspguide.com

Ain't there timestretching built into CoreAudio? I think this app
"Amazing slow downer" had been advertized to use CoreAudio
timestretching. Dunno what's up with that.
Oh also anyone can tell me how I can add a AudioUnit to an AUNode

angle as always).
Doesn't the "Dave" sample project that comes with CoreAudio SDK do
this? - Howbeit, you'll have to extend the code for AudioUnit V2 usage.
