Disappearing AU

Well I've totally stumped as to why my AU has stopped appearing in Logic. I've put it together using the VST2AU SDK and have had no problems until yesterday. I've only been working on the code inside the VST core of the plugin and cannot see how anything that effects the AU's appearance to the system has changed. Everything appears to be in place in the component but its not getting loaded at all as far as I can tell using breakpoints. Suggestions on things to try and look for!
