Goto
http://developer.apple.com/audio/macosxaudio.html, you will find
there a link to a pdf document called "Audio and MIDI on Mac OS X".
This is an outdated document (it describes the pre-jaguar API) but
gives however a very good overall approach.
(Apologies if this is a FAQ. I checked the archives but didn't find
anything)
Is there any basic documentation for Core Midi services available.
Anything at all ... it's just that first foot in the door situation!
If anybody has any easily copy/pasteable code to:
Create 2 or more concurrent midi notes,
of 'x' duration,
on channel 'y',
and send them from scratch, I'm sure I could grok it from there.
Thanks for any suggestions.
