I noticed that there is a serial MIDI driver in OS X 10.1. Seeing as I

I have a GeeThree Stealth Serial Port adaptor, myself. I installed the
"driver" for it (which is basically nothing), and when I started a
CoreMIDI app, I saw MIDI endpoints named "Port 1" and "Port 2". So I
didn't have to do anything, which was pretty surprising.
However, I don't have a serial MIDI interface anymore, so I have no idea
if these endpoints actually work.
I don't know what a Pro SX card is, but if it's a multiport serial card
(sounds like it), I assume you need drivers for it... and given that, I
don't know what it takes to make CoreMIDI use it.
BTW, while I had this going, I tried MIDIGetSerialPortDrivers(), but
that didn't return anything (I forget if it was an empty array or if I
got an error). I don't know if that is supposed to work, or what.
Pretty conclusive, huh?
