could I suggest that someone take the links and pointers that Darren
provides in his previous message and paste them into the Apple CoreAudio
pages on the web site.
Perhaps we should start a Wiki for this? I think a wiki would provide
for better organization than searching the mailing list archive; and a
wiki would probably be easier edit and keep up to date than the
official Apple web page.
Is there interest in this?
A Wiki is probably not in the interest of Apple, but it could be a
tremendous source for developers.
Still I'm not sure if it will work - because of the open character of
a Wiki site (everyone can edit pages), people who don't like what's
on the pages can edit and delete the info there. I've seen this
happen with a Macromedia Flash Wiki
(
http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/flashcoders-wiki/), where some
information on Flash bugs 'mysteriously' disappeared every time it
was posted.
I am not saying Apple has the same strategy as Macromedia, but you
should be cautious.
