The sampledSynth constant is only for use when initializing a SndChannel. It
is not for use in the various sound header structures.

It would seem that you need to take a look at more basic code for how to
play sound using the Sound Manager. There is plenty of sample code that
illustrates how to do this on our developer web site. There are examples for
playing encoded sound and filling out the headers properly.
