[OT] 'lpcm' vs kFloat32Format

  • Subject: [OT] 'lpcm' vs kFloat32Format

[ I posted this to the QuickTime list but I I figure it's worth a shot here.]

Are these audio formats the same? IOW if I'm receiving lpcm samples from CoreAudio, can these be packaged in Quicktime as kFloat32Format or is some conversion needed?

Thanks,

->Ken
