Following up to my own question...

[MIDIMAN sysex sending bug]

Anyone try this with the new MOTU driver yet?

I got a MOTU FastLane 2x2 USB interface the other day, and it seems to work just fine with MIDISendSysex(), as far as I can tell.

It also works, mostly, with sending sysex in separate packets/packet lists using MIDISend(). I've found that if you give your packets the same timestamps, and send a bunch of them in rapid succession, some may get dropped and they may be delivered out of order. (This covers the case when you send with a zero timestamp.) If the timestamps are set to be increasing, as they would be if you stamped them with the current time, they appear to be delivered correctly. I'll be emailing MOTU about this.

Incidentally, hotplugging the device works correctly, which is very cool to see. It's nice to have another device to test with!
