Sorry for the partially off-topic post, but there doesn't seem to be a
better forum for this question:
I'm working with the Speech Synthesis Manager and need to grab its
output for further processing rather than having it go to its standard
output. Unfortunately it appears that the only way to do this involves
writing my own Sound Output Component and using Sound Manager to
redirect the Speech Manager's output to it.
Can anyone comment on if/when the Speech Manager will built directly on
the coreAudio APIs and/or whether there's currently a better/easier way
to capture Speech Manager output than what I've described above?
