AudioConverterConvertBuffer sample?

Does anyone have a sample which uses AudioConverterConvertBuffer?
It fails with error code -50 every second time, even when calling
it twice in a row on the same data. I've been using
AudioConverterFillBuffer without problems.

Any ideas?
