As long as you link on the CoreMIDI framework, it'll be available. Not that
(as far as I know) there is still no mapping for CFM applications, do you
either need to me macho to use it (in wich case your app wouldn't even launch
if the lib wasn't there) or use a bundle to encapsulate the MIDI calls (in
wich case your bundle won't load if MIDI is not there, like on OS9)

I think you might have something solving those problems looming in for
"jaguar" (the next major update of OSX) but of course, nobody really know for
sure ! ;-)
