Marc,

You put it in the right place,
and it should appear in Dave.

Why don't you check if the settings in the resource file are right?
You have to have a unique component manufacturer and a name.

Jaeho.

Great, thanks for the tip! Now for question #23: how do I get Dave to
find my Audio Unit? I thought that if I put it in
Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ I would be all set (as long as it was
in / at startup or ~ at login). But Dave doesn't list mine. Do I need to
write an app to register it with the component manager, or something else?

Thanks,
Marc
