Does anyone know what the OMS USB Manager library does? Is it a USB
MIDI
Class Driver for OMS, or is it just used to support Opcode USB MIDI
interfaces? Is there any documentation for it? There is no mention of
it in
the OMS SDKs that I have.
My recollection is that it's used for shared code between the various
Opcode drivers. It wasn't documented for external use.
I need to add OMS support for a USB device. Currently it uses a
proprietary
protocol, but if OMS USB Manager adds support for a true USB MIDI Class
interface, I might consider re-implementing my code as such.
Otherwise, I
was thinking I would write an OMS Driver and access it via a USB Driver
shim.
I have a few unresolved issues I would like to talk to someone about.
If
this list is inappropriate for these questions, let me know if anyone
has
any suggestions about how to proceed.
I will put you in touch with the Opcode driver author offlist.
