New sample code

  • Subject: New sample code

There is a version (including Source) of an internal application that we use
to build and test graphs, audio units, etc. Its written in CocoaJava and its
called "Dave". It can be downloaded at:

ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/MacOSX/CoreAudio/

It also contains a revamped version of the FindUnits code that will validate
parameter usage of audio units. Some of the audio units that we've shipped
do not pass this test, but they will when we next ship them. This is part of
our ongoing efforts to describe a set of standard tests that can validate
that an AudioUnit is behaving correctly. If you have any
suggestions/comments/code/etc that could be incorporated in this effort we'd
be glad to field them

Bill
