Largest sample frame value causes stuttering

Hi,

Is anyone else seeing this problem? Selecting the largest buffer frame
value, e.g. 8192 for Apple's built in driver. cause playback to stutter.
It does not appear to affect input. I'm running on a G4, 256 MB, 10.1.3.

I filed a bug for it. Problem ID# :2886855
