MK-225 MIDI pass through

I think I've figured out a way to test the remote sync'ing feature. Supposedly I
should be able to use the MIDI out on my MK-225C to pass MIDI thru from the
computer. I'm then plugging the output of that into an input on a MIDISport 2x2 that
then is plugged into another computer running another instance of Reason.

I've enabled this but I'm not getting anything passed through. I've
verified that the MIDI Out is working in the normal mode.

Any suggestions?
