Thanks for your quick answers.
I noticed very weird drawing behavior of a DataBrowser in a window with
the compositing flag checked. For instance, when the browser is
selected (when I click anywhere inside it), the blue boarder is not
drawn around the control but some centimeters away. When I click a
checkbox, it is correctly updated (the mark inside changes) but a
"ghost" checkbox is also drawn some centimeters away!!! Looks like the
coordinates used at different points in the internal processing are not
coherent. These drawing problems disappear when compositing flag in
unchecked.
BTW, some similar problems occur when "Uses inline input" text fields
embedded in a group box are clicked: the blinking cursor and the blue
rectangle appear shifted as if their coordinates were related to the
top-left corner of the window and not the top-left corner of the box.
In this case, the only workaround I found was to ungroup the controls,
and push the group box to the back (I'm using IB).
