I don't think it is a threading issue either. A Carbon vs. Cocoa thing
is even less probable. I think it is something about using AUGraph
connections vs. pulling samples actively. Art's synth shows the same
behaviour on my machine, so I believe it is something that misleads us
former VST disciples (or it might be a glitch somewhere in Apple's
stuff, i.e. with built-in audio on old G4s).
BTW have you checked my app on your machine? Would be interesting to
know if other configurations show same or different behaviour...
