Editing MusicTracks while playing

  • Subject: Editing MusicTracks while playing

Is it possible to adjust a MusicTrack while it is playing? What I have now is a music track with a single note that simply loops, and I'd like to adjust the tempo of the track without having to stop it. I've tried getting the tempo data with MusicEventIteratorGetEventInfo and changing the value in the returned structure, but that doesn't seem to work (or I'm doing it incorrectly).
Any help is appreciated. I'm new to programming with CoreAudio and I'm finding the documentation a little sparse.

Thanks,
Tom
