Tom,
It is possible to perform many operations on a MusicTrack while it is
playing,
for example cut, copy, paste. Unfortunately, changing the tempo while
it is playing is currently not supported. We realize this is a good
thing
to be able to do and we have a bug open about it so this problem may be
addressed in a future release...
Is it possible to have an exhaustive list of operations available in
real time (comments in the header files ?).
I'd also be interested in changing the destination endpoint on a per
channel basis in real time (while playing) , change the volume, the
pan, and send a program change (yeah, that makes a lot, but Christmas
is only in a couple of month :-) ). I'm currently developing a MIDI
application that needs all this. I had to do it myself (using an
intermediate "private" endpoint). It's nearly working now, but it
wasn't easy. I would have preferred to have such features as
AudioToolbox standard features, it would have saved me a lot of time.
Nevertheless, you've done a pretty good job, go on like this.
BTW, where can we consult the open bugs ?
Regards.
