Hi Ben,

did you have a peek at the Emagic AudioUnit examples ('acme' pan + phase)? - I found them more VST-like than the examples that came with CoreAudio SDK...

Cheers,

;) Urs

Hi All!,

Well I'm at the stage now where I've ported a VST plug-in to AU and the right noises are
coming out. It's a music device (soft synth).

I'm slightly confused about rendering in stereo. So, I have some questions for you good people out there ..

1) Should a stereo AU have two outputs or a single interleaved out? As far as I can see interleaved is for V1 not V2?

2) When I instantiate an AU with nOutputs set to 2 it still shows up in Logic 5.4 as a mono AU what else needs to be done?
Set the properties of the audio stream?

Any examples would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much,
Ben.
