I'm fine with that - maybe we've gone full circle but sometimes it's

to do that to make sure the alternatives are explored.
If we were to do that I would make it be:
Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Presets/AudioUnits/
to avoid confusion with the other plug-ins. Or are we certain that
they'll never start
using the Presets folder?
You know, if components can't be put in subfolder then it follows that
component
folder prefix names must be unique and thus can be used to
differentiate the preset files
instead of the bundle identifier?
E.g.
Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Presets/AudioUnits/RumblenceAU/*.aupreset
Though I can go either way.
