I don't think the folder structure for the presets can be identical in naming with the AudioUnit.components. - I mean, preset folder names can't be derived from AudioUnit component file names. They should better be derived from the name property of the actual component. (Which is disturbing since I'd love to put a : in the name - does that screw up HFS+?)

Yes, yes it will. But that's only because of a philosophical difference between the HFS+ APIs and the BSD APIs =).

I want to put some more effects into Rumblence aside Rumblence:pure. These ( :pro, :verb, :synth or whatsoever) should have their own directories for presets...

I would think that any parser that would be created would simply 'fix' the name so that it doesn't have a colon in it.
