Carbon's Pope is Developer Technical Support ...
If the King [I would rather say] of Carbon is a support department
rather
than a development department, then doesn't this strongly imply that
Carbon
is already deprecated, as someone recently said?
Please don't read that much into my comment.
All I meant to point to is that these are issues that are more
intrinsic to Carbon than CoreAudio. The list's charter reminds people
that the list can't be considered an official communication channel to
Apple, and so even though it functions well for communicating to
CoreAudio engineering, it really can't be assumed to function that well
for issues with any other API. I'm not aware of how publicly available
the Carbon engineers make themselves.
bugreporter.apple.com is a good way to officially raise issues.
