I think HIView is way to go, but it is too difficult for me to dive
into this now. - And I think there are the same problems with
registering...

Yeah, sort of. I didn't want to alter Apple's code, so I installed a
counter for the ControlClass string and try as many times to register
my controls as it takes.
BTW I will be uploading my preliminary framework ( V0.1 :-) every
minute. I'll sent a note when it's done.
