Yes - it doesn't matter where its created - when you attach it to an output
(device) unit its going to be called on the I/O thread of that device.

We have seen some problems with this kind of operation (scheduling from one
thread and rendering from another) - we've addressed those problems - but
typically you *WON'T* see those problems in the scenario that you're
describing...
