AudioUnit Newbie

Hi,

I'm a newbie to this list. I've been programming VST for a while now and want to take the opportunity to support AU now that Logic 5.3 entered my OS X partition.

I was told that there will be a AudioUnit 2.0 SDK. Is that so? When will it be available then?

Is there any sample code available that compiles to something showing up in Logic's effect section?

I managed to play Pete Yandell's SimpleSynth via Logic. Is there a mechanism that lets me route the audio output back into Logic?

Thanks in advance,

;) Urs
