Hello,
A couple of years ago Apple was hot in the Java lane, I remember at
that time buying and ready getting into the Quicktime for Java books
that became available. Since that time the Java Sound API became
available from SUN. This event along with the fact that Apple did
NOTHING with Java for more than 2 years really got me focused on more
dedecated Java supporting platforms, such as Linux and Windows.
Right now, once again, Java is offered as a language to access the new
Apple Audio Services. What I want to know is just how well does this
work? Are the Audio Services not Mac specific? Or, can they really be
used on all Java platforms? Is the MIDI component just the QTMA again?
And, how well does it stack up to Java Sound?
I hope to regain the faith I had,
Thom
