The "[MIDISportLike]" messages are coming from the MIDIMAN driver... it's damn annoying! You'll find the file here:

/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers/M-AUDIO USB Support.plugin/Contents/MacOS/MIDISportLike

(you'll need to "Show Package Contents" of the "M-AUDIO USB Support.plugin" folder (or use the Terminal) to see it.
