There was a big reorganization in the Darwin CVS tree a while back.
It's possible that you are looking in the old location and seeing stuff
that will never be updated.
Poking around in CVSWeb, it looks like the new location is
src/notlive/AppleUSBAudio, and was last updated 4 days ago.

(My understanding is that the 'notlive' means that sources are
periodically pushed into this location, but the actual day-to-day work
is happening in some other CVS tree elsewhere.)
