Hi,
I have started working on custom gui elements for aufxes but I'm not
too sure if that makes any sense if Emagic puts something appropriate
into their announced VST-porting lib.
However, it would be very useful to have a basic recipy for this so we
could concentrate on audio rather than learning to use HIToolbox. A
standard would also allow better for sharing experience and source
code/examples.
Hence it would be nice to have examples for some gui widgets that are
commonly used in audio plugins like vu meters, knob controls (what
would a Minimoog sim look like without knobs then?!?) or envelopes with
bezier handles. No matter if they look like Aqua or not, as long as we
only could fill in our own .pngs or .tiffs. If that could be included
in the sdk...
