A note on AU distribution

  • Subject: A note on AU distribution

There was a comment a couple of days ago about distributing AU and I wanted
to make sure there was an understanding about how this can be done.

There is no need to create one AU.component directory for every audio
unit...

For instance, all of the AudioUnits that we ship with the system are found
in CoreAudio.component directory that is installed in
/System/Library/Components

This is probably an obvious point, but perhaps worth making?

Bill
