- can someone confirm me that once the midiserver has crashed, new
launches get buggy and a real restart is recommended ?

If it really crashes, I haven't found that to be the case. It can also get into an infinite loop: In that case, you need to kill it to clean things up.

I haven't done much testing on Jaguar. There have been reports of something being not quite right in USB land in Jaguar.
