audio text book recomendations?

Hi,

I'm currently writing a VOIP SIP/RTP phone, and i need to write some audio
processing functions. This stuff is really new to me and I have to cover off
things like:

audio endpointing
echo cancellation/noise reduction etc.

I am a real newbie to audio programming so i need to find a text book that
will help me write these routines, if anybody could give me some ideas/links
to source code/text book recomendations, it would be much appreciated.

I really need a good simple book.... dsp for dummies?
