You should follow up on the java-dev list - there should be someone there that can help you - sorry I can't

I found the response :

-Xbootclasspath/a:/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/
1.4.1/Classes/CoreAudioSupport.jar

CoreAudioSupport.jar has to be added to the bootclasspath and it works.

Thanks

Yes, I tried to add this jar in the classpath but that doesn't work anymore. It's very strange.

And it seems that the CoreAudioSupport.jar is already in a directory that belongs to the system classpath.

Is there a problem with jdk 1.4 and coreaudio ?

It seems that my coreaudio version uses com.apple.mrj.jdirect (ArrayCopy for example) classes and these classes aren't available in jdk1.4.

I am in 10.2.5 and I have updated Dev Tools to December 2002 so what can I do to make CoreAudio work with 1.4 VM ?
