While we're at it, and since it seems to be the season for AU API

a
little reminder list of issues that I have brought up before, that I
still hope will be addressed sometime:
parameter value distribution curves:

auparametermetadata.txt
Hmm... this seems like another thing that would fit nicely in extra
parameter info dictionary I suggested a week ago or so ago.. hehe ;-)
index parameter value problems and inconsistencies:

I totally agree with the sentiment here, but my opinion is that it
would require too much a change in the way hosts handle indexed
parameters. Most hosts will probably currently check that the parameter
unit equals _Indexed before attempting to grab the parameter value
names. So if you changed this semantic and had an AU that only
responded to the ParameterValueStrings property, older hosts would not
pick it up.
I don't know if either of those things are being thought about or
changed
or anything for the next AU revision, but I just wanted to bring them
back
up because I still think that they matter (especially the curves
stuff).
I also have a few gripes about parameter automation, but from what I
was
told by someone I know who was at WWDC this year, it sounds like that
stuff is being improved.
Nice to hear...
