Woops, you're right, you caught me. ;-) I forget so quickly. Okay, I'm
quiet now...

LOL - I'll believe it only when I see it. (Which I can't, if I'm to believe...)

FWIW, I also would like to see this functionality in AU
at some point in the not-too-distant future. It would certainly
increase usability.

Great, glad to hear that from you. :)

Yeah. I have reconsidered my 10 1/2 months ago objections. Now I fully agree that value distribution curves make sense. I would even say that there could be an optional callback (like VST, ugh...) for custom distribution curves (what if I need tanh(x/37.f) or something 8-).

Furtherly, I assume that any ParameterInfo can change at any time? It's a Property and those can change, right? Do host developers commonly implement that for their generic views / automation? - I would like to be able to adjust some stuff. For example, when I have a filter set to "lowpass", I would like the quality parameter to be named "resonance" going from 0 to scream, when it's set to "low shelve", the quality parameter should be named "gain", going from -20dB to + 20dB...

Cheers,

;) Urs
