Transmit/Receive Channels

  • Subject: Transmit/Receive Channels

Hey there,

I'm trying to understand the .middev file and how it relates to the
AudioMIDI setup.

The Transmits & Receives elements both have a MaxChannels attribute, but it
looks like those are numbers in the 1-16 range. I was expecting something
like 1-65536 to correlate with which channels the device transmits &
receives on, (like in AudioMidi Setup) but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Then where are the transmit/receive channels?

Any light shed here would be appreciated.

Thanks

ray
