Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the information, I'm glad it's not just me that's in the
dark. I have managed to find a middev file for all the Roland synths from a
Japanese website!, so I have no idea how it was created, but so far,
locating it audio/MIDI devices means that the menus in the audiomidi setup
are populated with all the Roland Synth names. I have created a .midnam file
with all my JV-1010 patches in it. (it was converted from the original OMS
document).
As I have neither Performer or Pro Tools, none of the directories mentioned
have been created, but created the above mentioned MIDI devices seems to
work fine.
I shall plough on and see how far I get.
