Some more information on this: I had better luck with the vstxsynth example, so on a whim I tried building Crystal. Lo and behold it works in Metro. There's no GUI of course, but the presets work. In Logic however, there seem to be a number of problems.

Anyway, does anyone have any experiences with Emagic's VST2AU library to share?

Is anyone using EMagic's VST wrapper library to port their VST plugs
to AU? I can't even get the example they provide to work (the delay
plug just produces noise with Logic 5.4 and silence with Metro), so I
thought I'd check to see if the library is known not to work before I
spend any more time trying to use it.
