Let me explain why I ask this question, maybe it's easier to answer if I do
that...
I am programming an simple sequencer. In 'MyReadProc' I get timestamp values
from the midi packet that are saved in the record buffer. Is it maybe better
to use 'AudioConvertHostTimeToNanos' on the timestamp value before saving it
to the record buffer?
I suppose I must convert the value back with 'AudioConvertNanosToHostTime'
before use in a midi packet?
What is the correct method here?
Best regards Peter

I wonder if I always must use 'AudioConvertHostTimeToNanos' to add for
example 1 sec (1000000000) to the hosttime? And after the adding use
'AudioConvertNanosToHostTime'. ?
Why can't I just add directly to the hosttime? I know that there must be a
reason fo this, but I don't really get it. Can someone explain this please?
Best regards Peter
