I have just posted a major upgrade to the PortAudio implementation for Mac
OS X. (I will give details in a follow-up letter.) Some of the improvements
involve better support for multi-channel I/O. If you want to try the latest,
grab the V18-patch "pa_snapshot_v18.tar.gz" from this page:
