Hi,

Can anyone suggest a good Midi interface? I just need 1 in and 1 out.
Also I would like one that does not need diver software if there is such a
thing.

I have two Midiman Uno USB-MIDI interfaces. They have captive cables. I bought them for use on the road. They work fine under OS X, OS 9, and Windoze. I use them with my Nord Modular, one on the editor port, so they can probably handle anything. They're also relatively cheap.

They do, however, require device drivers, which are supplied on a CD enclosed in the package, and downloadable from M-Audio's website.

Best regards,
