Problem with iTunes

  • Subject: Problem with iTunes

We've run across a problem with iTunes, I'm not sure if this has been
discussed before.

It seems that if I first run an application (such as Cubase, Spark ME,
etc..) that sets the Sampling rate to 88.2K, or 96K, and then run iTunes
- the sound comes out distorted.

Looking at the calls coming into the driver, I see that iTunes does not
try to set the sample-rate (I mean the driver does not see a call to set
sampling rate) come in).

Is this a known problem?

Thanks.
Devendra.
