Lost MIDI messages on display wakeup?

  • Subject: Lost MIDI messages on display wakeup?

While testing a MIDI Clock sync algorithm, I find that if my LCD display goes
to sleep I see no interruption in MIDI clock messages from an external source
(MOTU MicroExpress / Korg ER-1), but as soon as I wake up the display, I almost
always see a disruption in MIDI messages (i.e. missing clock messages) that
throws off my sync algorithm.

Is this a known issue, or should I report it to RADAR?
Could it be MIDI driver specific?

Jim
