(my first post :-)
Cor blimey, for a moment you had me going there---when I first saw "Occam"
I thought I'd be able to write Audio Units in the Occam programming
language, made famous in the 80's by the Transputer, and based on Tony
Hoare's CSP theory (nice chap, Tony, interesting to chat with)
Then I saw the site...oh well, maybe the guys at the University of Kent
wil have better luck with their Occam compiler:
http://wotug.ukc.ac.uk/kroc/
*sigh*
Learnt occam a few years ago for my Masters. Really nice language for
implementing parallel processing systems... oh well, back to lurking.
Cheers,
Neil
